Southern California Edison’s rebate program is a comprehensive cost savings program that allows their customers to install energy efficient upgrades at little or no cost to the consumer. Their no-cost program includes qualified lighting, faucet aerators and low flow shower heads. These upgrades are easy first step options and can lower the cost of energy and water for your properties. Savings can even be passed on to your tenants in the form of lower utility bills.
The rebate program covers expenses for the energy-efficient equipment and installation, if applicable. Customers are responsible for any required permit fees and ancillary charges such as filters, drain covers, electrical upgrades, etc.
2017 NO-COST offerings include:
- ENERGY STAR-certified Screw-In A-Lamps
LED light bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional light bulbs. LED light bulbs also last 25 times longer than incandescent bulbs, reducing replacement costs and enhancing savings.
- Energy STAR-certified EXTERIOR Hardwired Fluorescent Light Fixtures
Because proper outdoor lighting is essential to most properties, Southern California Edison offers fixtures that combines energy-efficiency and long-life performance.
- Energy STAR-certified INTERIOR Hardwired Fluorescent Light Fixtures
Conveniently offered in a variety styles, these more energy efficient indoor fixtures use one-forth the energy of traditional fixtures. Designed for the dining room, kitchen, hallway, bathroom vanity and more, these fixtures provide more light, distributed more evenly and offer features like dimming.
- Low Flow Faucet Aerators and Shower Heads
In units that use electric water heating, low flow faucet aerators and low flow shower heads are available. Both of these products help save on the cost of electric energy and water.
