After a very competitive bidding process, CHEP USA selected Monterey Energy as its vendor to audit, design and install energy-efficient lighting at 28 of its regional operating facilities across the United States. Monterey installed approximately 3,000 T5HO Fluorescent Highbay Fixtures with integrated occupancy sensors and secured utility rebate funding on the client’s behalf from over 15 separate utility providers in 11 states. This successful national rollout project brought hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual electric savings to CHEP.
For the design and implementation of a new energy-efficient lighting system in their 300,000 square-foot warehouse and distribution center, GE turned to Monterey. Utilizing GE’s own state-of-the-art highbay fixtures and ballasts, the annual energy savings came to over $100,000.
